Canning Applesauce

Last Friday, November 7th, I was lucky enough to have the day off, so I set out on a canning journey with my mom and sisters. Katie, Kris, and Max all came to town the night before, so they were there to partake in the fun. Picture the scene: 6 boxes of apples, 5 grandchildren under the age of 5, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and 1 mom on a mission to make applesauce for the first time. Well, Kris and Kody didn't help and my mom has made applesauce before, but it sounded good. We cut, cooked, separated, scooped, boiled and waited. Nine hours later we made it! It was a great time and I am proud of what we did. It was a ton of fun and a great day spent with my family! Thanks girls!!

It was great to see you today. Hope you don't mind your hubby giving me your website. I have one, if you would like to check it out, the address is http://burtcher.blogspot.com

We should get together sometime - go to dinner or something.
