CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES!!

My mother-in-law Kellie graduated from Apollo College with an Associates of Nursing Degree. We are all so proud of her!! She has worked very hard for the last two years! It was a great night with lots of festivities. LJ had to work so he could not make it, but I represented our family well! We wish you the best Kellie!! Congratulations!!!!!

Snowboarding

Monday night we went snowboarding with the Overalls. Rick and Kellie hung out in the lodge with Braddock, while Jayson, Anita, Brenton, Brailie, Jake, Kim, Kurt, LJ, and I hit the slopes. This was one of the first times I have gone snowboarding and actually enjoyed myself. Everyone hung out on the Bunny Hill for the first hour and a half with me and the kids who are not good. After that Anita and I hit the lodge with Rick and Kellie and hung out while everyone went on the big runs. It was nice not to be on the Bunny Hill by myself, which is what usually happens. I am slowly getting better. I can finally get off the chairlift without falling on my face. I can make it down the hill and turn and stop. It gets a little easier each time we go. Thanks to everyone for a great time!

New Years Day

My friend Kathie called me last week and asked me to run the YMCA New Year's Day 5K with her. I thought, "why not." What a great way to start the new year getting in shape and getting back on track losing weight. I convinced LJ to run it with me. :) It started at the Ram in Boise and followed the Greenbelt back to the Ram. It was a great run! I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures, but it was a still a great time. Great job Kathie and LJ and thanks for inspiring and encouraging me!!

My Girls

I don't keep in touch with very many friends from high school, but there are two girls who I do keep in touch with. They are two of the greatest friends in the world. Lori, Emily, and I only see each other a couple times a year, but when we do see each other, it is like we see each other every day. We laugh, talk, eat, giggle, and have a great time together. I love them both and don't know what I would do without these two amazing girls as friends. Thanks girls!! I love you!!

Christmas

We spent most of Christmas with the Overall's this year. Christmas Eve, Santa came to visit and then Christmas morning we opened lots of presents. It was tons of fun. It was the first time since 2001 that all of LJ's brothers had been home for Christmas together. I hope everyone had a great Christmas!! Merry Christmas!!
