Ulmer Family Adult Only Party

This year the adult only Ulmer Christmas Party was shotgun shooting.  Now shotgun shooting is fine for the boys, but the girls are not what you call "gun savy."  It actually turned out to be really fun, except the fact that it was freezing cold.  We had a good time shooting shot guns and hand guns.

29 Weeks

Sorry!  I am slacking!  Friday, December 29th Addi turned 29 weeks.  She celebrated her first Christmas and was spoiled rotten!  She was more interested in eating the wrapping paper than in what she got, but it was still fun!  It was the first year LJ and I got to buy for our own child and I know I went overboard, but I had a good time.

28 Weeks and LJ's B-Day

Friday, December 21st was LJ's Birthday and Addi's 28 Week mark.  LJ and I both had the day off work.  We went to AJ's Graduation at BSU and then had dinner with his family and my parents that night.  We tried a new barbecue restaurtant called Mickey Rays.  It wasn't too bad.

Addi is rolling around a lot now.  She is getting better and better at sitting up.  She loves to babble and talk.  She loves eating!  She likes squash, peas, broccoli, sweet potato, potatoes, applesauce, rice cereal, but is not so fond of bananas.  We are excited to celebrate her first Christmas!

27 Weeks

Addi is just growing so fast!  Soon her first Christmas will be here.  I cannot believe it.  She had her 6 month appointment and as soon as I get home, I will update her stats on here.  She can sit up for short periods of time now and roll multiple times.  Time to baby proof the house!

26 Weeks (6 months)

So late!  Sorry!  Addi turned 26 weeks on Friday, December 7th.  She is rolling both ways and playing on her stomach more than her back.  She rolls to her stomach and plays and then forgets that she knows how to roll to her back and will start yelling at you.  She also met Santa on the 8th, but I haven't figured out how to scan the picture yet or it would be up here.  Addi loves food! She wants to eat whatever we eat.  She's had peas, squash, potatoes, applesauce, broccoli, and little starts.  She is growing so fast!

25 Weeks

Addi turned 25 weeks on Friday, November 30th.  She is rolling both directions now and getting stronger each day.  She is sitting up more and more each day.

24 Weeks

Addi turned 24 weeks on Friday, November 23rd.  She is rolling over from back to stomach now.  She ate her first peas as well.  She loves them much more than rice cereal.  She is slowly getting better at sitting up as well.  She is growing so fast.

23 Weeks

This is a little late!  Addi turned 23 weeks on November 17th.  She loves to suck on her toes and play with her toys.  She is smacking her lips and kicking off her socks any chance she gets.

5 months!! (22 weeks)

Addi turned 5 months on November 8th!  Time is flying by.  She eats cereal every day and we are working up to twice a day.  She loves to play with toys.  Her favorites are her keys and squishy ball.  She loves to lay on her back and suck on her toes (quite flexible!)  She is learning to hold her own bottle as well.  She laughs and screams and talks.  She hates to wear hats and bows.  She loves to kick her feet and she uses it to express emotions.  When you walk in to get her in the morning, she will smile and start kicking her feet really fast to say hello.

The other night Addi was sitting in her chair after dinner and I came back in and discovered this.  It was so funny.  She kept dropping the candy and going back for more.  The video is a good depiction.  She is trouble already!

21 Weeks

Addi turned 21 weeks on Friday, November 2nd.  She loves to play with toys and chew on everything.  She loves to have books read to her and loves to sing.  She will even sing in the car.  She had her first Halloween.  She walked around in the stroller with her cousins while they went trick-or-treating, but she did not participate.  We are working on sitting up and rolling over more consistently.

20 Weeks

Addi turned 20 weeks on Friday, October 26th.  She is eating cereal now.  We give her a little each day.  She is rolling over a little bit as well (see the video).  She is excited for Halloween this week!

19 Weeks

Addi turned 19 weeks on Friday, October 19th.  She is growing so fast!  We are still working on sitting up and rolling over.  She is drooling like crazy.

4 months (18 weeks)

Last week Addi turned 4 months old and 18 weeks.  She is growing so fast!  At her four month appointment she came in at the following stats:
Weight: 14 pounds 12 ounces
Height: 24.25 inches
Head: 16 inches

She rolled over for the first time last week.  She can scoot herself on her back.  She talks and laughs like crazy.  She even had her first cereal last week.  She did okay with it.  She loves to cuddle with Mom and Dad and play with her toys.

17 Weeks

For her 17 week birthday, Addi traveled to Washington DC for the first time.  I had an NEA Board of Directors Meeting and LJ had never been, so they came along for the ride.  She is a traveling pro!  She slept on the plane and happily sat on our laps.  She traveled on the metro and in a taxi in DC.  She went to the Air and Space, American History, Natural History, and Holocaust Museums.  She saw the United States Capitol, Library of Congress, and Supreme Court.  She went to the Washington Zoo with her Dad and got a new panda stuffed animal.  She even traveled to Arlington National Cemetery.

She is growing so fast!  She loves to talk and learned to scream from the monkeys at the zoo.  She plays with her hands and holds her bottle sometimes.  She loves toys and watching things.  She is very alert and attentive to everything going on around her!  We love her!

16 weeks

This is really late!  Addi turned 16 weeks on Friday, September 28th.  She is getting stronger and stronger.  She loves to lift up her head and legs.  She now slams her legs down in her bed to let you know she is awake.  She doesn't cry, she groans and kicks her legs.  She loves to blow bubbles and hang out with mom and dad.

15 Weeks

Addi was 15 weeks on Friday, September 21.  She is eating a ton, scooting on her back, and moving on to 3-6 months clothes.  She is growing so fast!

14 Weeks

Addi turned 14 weeks on Friday, September 14th.  She spent her first weekend away from Mom.  I had a meeting out of town, so it was just Addi and LJ.  I think it went well.  She laughed and smiled when I came home Sunday, so that made me feel good.  She is growing so fast.  She kicks her legs and splashes in the tub.  She lifts her head up away from her car seat and talks constantly.  Since I was out of town, LJ took the opportunity to dress Addi in his favorite colors.  Now I will just have to buy her some black and gold as well.

13 Weeks

12 Weeks

Addi was 12 weeks on Friday, August 30th.  She is doing well!  She loves the babysitter, but loves coming home to Mom and Dad as well.  She really laughed for the first time this week- see the video.  She is playing with her hands more and more and kicks constantly.  She loves to be sung to and tells stories.  She is growing so fast!

11 Weeks

Addi was 11 weeks on the 24th ( I know this is late).  She had her first two days at the babysitter and loved it.  We are so blessed to find a good home for her to hang out at during the day.  She plays with twin three year olds and they love her.  She has also started eating more!  I swear I can't keep her full.  She has found her hands and likes to suck on them, especially when she is hungry.  She still fights going to sleep and always wants to be part of the action- don't leave her alone in a room.  She loves the bath and facing outward, not snuggling.  She is sleeping 6-8 hours a night and I am grateful for that!!!  She really does smile and talk constantly, but everytime the flash goes off on the camera her smile disappears.  I will get one with her smiling.  Maybe for 12 weeks!!!

10 Weeks

Addi is now 10 weeks!  She is growing faster each day.  She likes to lay under her playmat, drool, and blow bubbles.  She is sleeping well at night, but still fights going to sleep.  She made her first trip to Elk City last weekend (those pics are coming later).  We love her!
