CORN

I traveled to Grandma Myers' house today with Mom and Dad to pick corn. We picked it and shucked it. Then I came home, cooked it, cut it, bagged it, and froze it. I have never done this before, so I was nervous that it wouldn't turn out. I think I did okay. 80 ears of corn later, I have 15 bags of corn of about 1.5 cups each. I am really proud of myself. It was a lot of work and time consuming, but I think it will be worth it! Thanks Grandma for the corn and Mom and Dad for all the help! YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

That is the way I remember helping Grandma freeze her corn when we were kids. Great Job!!! :o)

I LOVE corn from Grandma's!!!! We are going there this week to get some and are hoping to do the same thing. It's a lot of work, but soooo worth it in the end!

Hi Kari,
Wanted to say hello and tell you I love the pics of Kenny, looks like a fun thing to do with the sisters! I would love to go to a concert with my sisters. Tell the Griswalds we say hello, that must have been fun going to the coast to camp. Hope you are doing well. We think of 14th ward often and wish we could have said good bye. Terry contacts me periodically, does she have a blog? Hope all is going well. Fun to see your summer fun.
